Enhancing the Emeriti/ae Experience: Pilot Project

Emeriti/ae Pilot Project

The President and the Provost generously provided funding for a three-year Pilot Project, beginning in September 2024. This will offer all Stanford emeriti/ae enhanced information resources and a richer array of intellectual, social, and civic opportunities. We are committed to providing structured opportunities for University and community service, improved communications to keep these long-valued members of the Stanford community engaged with each other and in the life of the University after they have formally retired, and — in time — a physical "home" for the emeriti/ae and their activities. An initial survey will assess the interests and opinions of emeriti/ae faculty and staff, and provide a baseline against which to evaluate the success of the pilot project.
